Snowflakes fly

Snowflakes fly

Outside my wide little windows,
Hush and a loud cheery cry,
Stream to my lily-white meadows,
Brimming joy in innocent eyes.

I run,
run,
run,
till breathless
in pure whiteness.

Clasp all my trues in both hands,
Snowball and wishes,
smiling, and gaze into silence.
